## Description

The Digital Print Production Associate supports the accurate, efficient, and timely production of high-quality printed materials. This position prepares files, operates digital printing and finishing equipment, monitors quality, maintains supplies, and works with team members to complete jobs according to customer specifications and production deadlines.

-   Review job tickets, artwork, and customer specifications before beginning production.
-   Prepare and inspect digital files for print readiness, including page size, bleeds, image resolution, fonts, color settings, and imposition.
-   Set up and operate digital presses, wide-format printers, and related production equipment as assigned.
-   Load paper, substrates, inks, toner, and other materials; select appropriate machine settings for each job.
-   Monitor output throughout each production run and perform quality checks for color, registration, alignment, consistency, and finishing accuracy.
-   Operate finishing equipment such as cutters, folders, laminators, binders, drills, and packaging equipment.
-   Troubleshoot routine file, print, and equipment issues; escalate complex problems when necessary.
-   Perform basic preventive maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
-   Track job status, production quantities, waste, materials used, and completed work accurately.
-   Maintain inventory of paper, substrates, toner, ink, and other production supplies; report replenishment needs.
-   Prioritize multiple jobs to meet quality, productivity, and delivery expectations.
-   Collaborate with customer service, design, prepress, shipping, and production team members to resolve questions and support workflow.
-   Follow company procedures, equipment guidelines, and workplace safety standards.

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent.
-   Basic computer skills and the ability to learn print workflow and production software.
-   Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
-   Ability to read job instructions, measurements, and production specifications.
-   Effective organization, time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
-   Dependable attendance and willingness to follow established procedures.
-   Ability to stand and move throughout the production area for extended periods.
-   Ability to bend, reach, and use hands to handle paper, materials, tools, and equipment controls.
-   Ability to lift and move production materials within company-established limits, with reasonable accommodation when applicable.
-   Comfort working around operating machinery, paper dust, toner, ink, and typical production-area noise.
-   Availability to work scheduled shifts and occasional overtime based on production needs.

Preferred Qualifications

-   One or more years of experience in digital printing, print production, prepress, bindery, manufacturing, or a related environment.
-   Experience operating digital presses and finishing equipment.
-   Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, raster image processors, or print management software.
-   Knowledge of color management, print file formats, paper stocks, substrates, and finishing methods.
