## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Quality Control (CQC) Manager** to lead and manage all quality control activities on a **U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)** project in Barstow, CA. This role is critical in ensuring full compliance with contract specifications, safety standards, and USACE quality requirements.

The CQC Manager will serve as the primary authority on all QC matters and act on behalf of the Contractor to ensure project quality execution from start to finish.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Serve as the **designated CQC System Manager** with full authority over all quality control functions
-   Develop, implement, and manage the **Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plan**
-   Ensure all construction activities comply with **USACE standards, contract documents, and specifications**
-   Coordinate and conduct **three phases of control** (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up)
-   Manage inspections, testing, documentation, and reporting
-   Maintain daily QC reports and ensure proper project documentation
-   Interface with **USACE representatives, project managers, and field teams**
-   Identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions promptly
-   Ensure no conflicting duties—**role must be solely dedicated to QC management**

## Requirements

### **Qualifications (USACE Required)**

Candidates must meet **one** of the following:

-   **Graduate Engineer, Architect, or Construction Management graduate** from an **ABET-accredited program** with **minimum 5 years of construction experience** as a CQC System Manager  
    **OR**
-   Minimum **10 years of construction experience** with at least 4 **years as a CQC System Manager** on USACE or similar federal projects

### **Additional Requirements**

-   Must be capable of being **assigned at project start** and remain dedicated throughout construction
-   Ability to identify and designate an **Alternate CQC Manager** (with equal qualifications)
-   Strong knowledge of:

-   USACE / Federal construction standards
-   RMS/QCS systems (preferred)
-   Quality control processes and documentation

-   Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
