## Description

**Job Title:** Junior Accountant.

**Location:** Stellenbosch.

**Type:** Permanent, office based, full time.

**Salary offered:** Between R20 000-R25 000 per month.

**Job Summary:**  
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and assist in the preparation of financial reports. This role is well-suited to an individual looking to develop their career in accounting within a professional environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
-   Record daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts
-   Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
-   Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
-   Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules
-   Maintain proper documentation and well-organized financial records
-   Provide administrative and operational support to the Financial Manager

## Requirements

**Requirements:**

-   Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-   Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
-   Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
-   Good organizational and time management skills
-   Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

**Preferred Qualifications:**

-   Previous internship or entry-level experience in an accounting role
-   Exposure to financial reporting processes
