## Description

DNI is seeking a Material Coordinator to support an upcoming NPS Property and Inventory Support contract at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. This is a full-time, on-site lead role responsible for coordinating daily property and inventory support activities, serving as the primary on-site interface with Government personnel, and overseeing receiving, inventory, transportation, documentation, scheduling, and quality control functions.

This position supports a customer environment that depends on accurate property accountability, timely receiving and distribution, complete documentation uploads, audit-ready logs, and disciplined use of DPAS and/or Navy ERP across multiple NPS buildings.

### Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day on-site property and inventory support operations in alignment with contract requirements and customer priorities.
- Serve as the primary on-site Government interface for work coordination, schedule management, issue resolution, and operational communication.
- Assign daily work to support personnel and monitor execution of receiving, staging, inventory, delivery, and documentation activities.
- Oversee receiving-point operations, including verification of incoming shipments, discrepancy identification, staging, routing, and record maintenance.
- Manage and monitor inventory accountability processes, including cataloging, logging, custody tracking, record reconciliation, and support for physical inventory verification.
- Coordinate transportation and delivery activities to Government acceptors, PMD, storage locations, and end users while maintaining chain-of-custody visibility and supporting documentation.
- Oversee documentation completeness and timeliness, including logs, supporting paperwork, notifications, pickup and delivery schedules, and discrepancy records.
- Support excess-property and disposition actions by ensuring property is segregated, tracked, and documented until transfer or disposal is complete.
- Monitor compliance with quality standards, audit-readiness requirements, and contract performance expectations across all supported workflows.
- Identify process issues, inventory discrepancies, or documentation gaps and take corrective action to maintain accurate and uninterrupted service.

## Requirements

- Experience leading or coordinating warehouse, logistics, property accountability, inventory control, or material management operations
- Experience assigning work, managing schedules, and serving as a point of contact in an operational environment
- Knowledge of receiving, staging, movement, delivery, inventory verification, and records-management processes for accountable property.
- Experience maintaining documentation, logs, and transaction records with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with Government personnel, internal staff, and end users in a customer-facing environment
- Ability to work on site in Monterey, California and move throughout warehouse, office, and delivery locations as needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory/accountability systems; familiarity with DPAS and/or Navy ERP is strongly preferred.
