### Emergency Medicine Physician

**Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina**

We are seeking a **Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician** to join a hospital-based Emergency Department in **Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina**. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality emergency care in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

The Emergency Medicine Physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries while working closely with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and hospital services.

### Responsibilities

-   Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages
-   Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and emergent medical conditions
-   Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critical patients
-   Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging
-   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care
-   Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
-   Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

## Requirements

### Qualifications

-   MD or DO
-   Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
-   Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
-   Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
