## Description

**Westview International Language School** is seeking a highly experienced and visionary **Head of Department (HOD) - Science** **Teacher** to join our team. This leadership role requires a dynamic educator who can inspire both students and staff, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning across all science disciplines.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Provide strategic leadership and management for the Science department, promoting excellence in teaching and student achievement.
-   Develop, implement, and evaluate the science curriculum to ensure alignment with educational standards and school goals.
-   Support and mentor science teachers, facilitating professional development and fostering a collaborative team environment.
-   Monitor and analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted interventions.
-   Lead department meetings, contribute to school-wide planning, and participate in leadership initiatives.
-   Promote innovative teaching practices and integrate new technologies and resources to enhance learning outcomes.
-   Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all science laboratories and practical activities.
-   Engage with parents, stakeholders, and external partners to support the department's objectives and student success.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related scientific field.
-   Proven experience in a leadership role within a school's science department.
-   Extensive teaching experience in science across multiple age groups or stages.
-   Strong knowledge of curriculum development, assessment practices, and educational standards.
-   Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and engage with the school community.
-   Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate both teachers and students.
-   Commitment to continuous professional development and educational innovation.
-   Fluency in English is must .
