## Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Prepare detailed mechanical estimates by reviewing drawings, specifications, and scope.
-   Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment.
-   Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather required information.
-   Review subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure accuracy.
-   Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering suggestions.
-   Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing and industry standards.

## Requirements

-   Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the construction or mechanical services industry.
-   Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plant equipment.
-   Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
-   Proficiency with estimation software and Microsoft Office applications.
-   Strong analytical and numerical skills.
-   Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
-   Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering, construction, or related fields are desirable.
