**Overview**

**Bassett Healthcare Network**, in Central New York, is seeking a BC/BE Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist with an interest in Addiction Medicine to join our staff.

-   **Salary Range: $295,008 - $330,000**
-   **Sign-on Bonus: up to $200,000**

**Job Description & Responsibilities**

-   The Department of Psychiatry Service Line includes the Division of Inpatient Psychiatry (14 bed acute Inpatient Psychiatry unit, consults to Med-Surg inpatients at several affiliate hospitals, and consults to the Emergency Departments), and the Division of Outpatient Psychiatry (OMH-licensed clinic in Cooperstown NY) with satellites throughout the Bassett Network and extensive Tele psychiatry services
-   A diverse psychiatric team of MDs, PMHNPs, and Therapists
-   Responsible for psychiatric evaluations and assessments
-   Prescribe and manage medications
-   NP collaboration/supervision
-   Occasional consult Liaison coverage including tele psych to other hospitals in the network
-   Combination of tele psych and in person coverage
-   Inpatient call no more than 1:5 weekdays and 1 weekend per month
-   Interaction with medical students as well as Internal Medicine and Transitional residents
-   Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
-   Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

## Requirements

-   BC/BE Adult Psychiatry
-   Completion of an accredited USA Psychiatry Residency
-   New York State license (or eligibility to obtain)
-   BLS Certification Required
-   DEA Required
-   Strong teamwork, patient-centered approach, and ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary academic setting.

**Compensation**

-   Salary Range: $295,008 - $330,000

-   This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standard

-   Sign-on Bonus: up to $200,000
-   Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap.  Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
