Our partner is a fast-growing, Series A AI company backed by top-tier investors, automating end-to-end insurance claims processing for the largest carriers. Revenue has grown roughly 50% month over month, the team has scaled to around 70 people, and it is on track to more than double by year end. Engineering is Python-heavy and deeply agentic. The culture is fast, feedback-rich, low on bureaucracy, and fully in-person.

### The Opportunity

Our partner is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to sit at the intersection of engineering and the customer. You will build real product while working directly with enterprise clients, roughly 70% deep technical work and 30% client-facing communication. You will own problems end to end in an environment where you rarely have all the data, and where agency and ownership are prized above process.

### Responsibilities

-   Build and ship backend systems in a Python-heavy, agentic codebase
-   Work directly with enterprise clients to deploy and tailor solutions
-   Translate ambiguous customer needs into working software
-   Operate with high autonomy and ownership under fast deadlines

### Requirements

-   1-7 years of software engineering experience
-   Strong Python and backend fundamentals
-   Excellent communication; comfortable meeting and working with clients
-   Founding or early-stage startup experience preferred
-   Ability to operate in an unstructured, fast-moving environment
