**Role Overview**

MSL Engineering is seeking a proactive and driven Digital Reporting & Marketing Coordinator to support the company’s digitalisation, reporting and marketing activities.

This role combines data analysis, Power BI reporting and digital marketing, with an approximate 70% focus on digital reporting and 30% on marketing activities. This balance may vary from time to time in line with business priorities and requirements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate digital business reporting while also supporting digital marketing campaigns, social media activity, website content and company communications.

Working across multiple departments, this position offers exposure to both operational reporting and marketing functions within a fast-paced engineering and construction environment.

**About You**

We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive and keen to develop. You do not need to be an expert in every area from day one, but you should be comfortable working with data, learning new systems and taking ownership of your work.

This role may suit:

An early-career professional with 1–2 years’ experience in reporting, data analytics, digital marketing, communications or a related area.

A strong graduate with relevant placement, project or portfolio experience; or

We are particularly interested in someone who enjoys working with data but also has a creative side, with an interest in how information is communicated and presented.

Experience within an engineering or construction environment would be an advantage but is not essential.

We would love to see examples of your previous work. This could include Power BI dashboards, reports, design work, social media or website content, presentations, or relevant college/portfolio projects.

As the role involves access to sensitive company, project and client information, a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to understand and respect NDA and client confidentiality requirements when preparing reports and marketing content, ensuring sensitive project and client information is not disclosed.

## Requirements

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Power BI Dashboard Creation & Maintenance**

-   Run, monitor and maintain existing Power BI dashboards weekly
-   Extract and distribute reports weekly
-   Support the development of new dashboards and enhancements to existing reporting
-   Identify data inconsistencies, missing entries and reporting issues
-   Assist with testing and implementation of new reports and digital solutions

**Data Integrity & Process Improvement**

-   Maintain a structured log of recurring reporting issues
-   Analyse reporting discrepancies and help identify recurring trends and root causes
-   Develop an understanding of business processes and data sources to help ensure reports are accurate, meaningful and useful to stakeholders.
-   Support ongoing digital optimisation initiatives
-   Create clear internal training guides and videos for new and existing digital processes

**Stakeholder Engagement**

-   Clearly communicate required corrections and liaise with site supervisors and project teams to resolve discrepancies
-   Follow up to ensure changes are implemented & escalate recurring issues where necessary

**Digital Marketing & Communications**

-   Design social media graphics, presentations, reports, infographics, company newsletters & brochures
-   Ensure all materials align with MSL brand guidelines
-   Create engaging content including graphics, videos, photography and written posts
-   Assist with the planning and delivery of social media campaigns across LinkedIn, Workable and other platforms
-   Support company events, graduate programmes, safety & quality initiatives and digitalisation campaigns
-   Support the development of marketing materials for client presentations and bids
-   Assist with photography, video content and image editing

**Website & Digital Content**

-   Maintain and update website content
-   Support the creation of case studies, project highlights and news articles
-   Assist with search engine optimisation (SEO) initiatives
-   Work with external website providers where required
-   Help improve website performance and user engagement

**Marketing Analytics**

-   Monitor traffic, engagement and digital marketing performance across website and social media channels.
-   Track, analyse campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement
-   Produce monthly reports highlighting key marketing metrics and trends

**Skills & Experience:**

**Education**

-   A degree or equivalent qualification/experience in Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, Marketing, Digital Media, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.

**Essential Skills**

-   Power BI – Experience developing, maintaining or working with Power BI reports and dashboards.
-   Strong attention to detail – High level of accuracy across data, reporting and content.
-   Analytical thinking – Able to interpret data, identify trends and investigate inconsistencies.
-   Problem solving – Able to investigate issues and develop practical solutions.
-   Creative thinking – Brings fresh ideas to content, communications and how information is presented.
-   Strong communication skills – Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
-   Stakeholder management – Comfortable working across multiple departments and levels of the business for both reporting & marketing requirements.
-   Commercial awareness – Understands wider business objectives and how reporting and marketing activities support them.
-   Digital & reporting proficiency – Experience using Power BI to develop and maintain reports, alongside tools such as Canva, process mapping software and Microsoft 365 applications.
