## Description

**Job Title:** Water Treatment Account Manager  
**Location:** Netherlands with a focus around the Breda region  
**Job Type:** Full-time, 6–12 month contract (potential to convert to permanent)

### **About the Role**

We are seeking a results-driven Water Treatment Account Manager to join our team in the Netherlands on a full-time contract basis. This role focuses on managing and growing customer accounts within industrial and commercial water treatment sectors. The position offers strong potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts across the Netherlands
-   Identify new business opportunities within water treatment applications (cooling, boiler, wastewater, and process water systems)
-   Deliver technical and commercial solutions tailored to client needs
-   Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact
-   Conduct regular site visits, system audits, and performance reviews
-   Collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective implementation of treatment programs
-   Monitor account performance, pricing, and contract compliance
-   Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales opportunities
-   Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and sustainability practices

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field

-   Proven experience in water treatment, chemical sales, or account management
-   Strong technical understanding of water treatment processes and equipment
-   Commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets
-   Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
-   Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
-   Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
-   Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly

### **Preferred Qualifications**

-   Experience working with industrial clients (e.g., manufacturing, food & beverage, energy)
-   Knowledge of local Dutch water regulations and compliance standards
