## Description

### **Position Summary**

The Punch List Carpenter is responsible for completing final-stage construction tasks on residential or commercial projects to ensure all work meets quality standards prior to project closeout. This role focuses on detailed finish work, corrections, and touch-ups identified during inspections or walkthroughs.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Complete punch list items including repairs, adjustments, and finishing work
-   Perform light carpentry tasks such as trim installation, door adjustments, hardware installation, and cabinetry touch-ups
-   Repair drywall, patch, sand, and prepare surfaces for painting
-   Perform paint touch-ups, caulking, and minor texture work
-   Install and adjust doors, baseboards, crown molding, and other finish carpentry elements
-   Identify deficiencies and proactively address quality issues
-   Ensure all work meets company standards, project specifications, and client expectations
-   Maintain a clean and safe work environment
-   Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, and other trades

## Requirements

-   2+ years of carpentry or construction experience (finish carpentry preferred)
-   Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
-   Ability to complete small repairs across multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, minor paint)
-   Basic understanding of construction drawings and punch list processes
-   Proficient with hand and power tools
-   Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
-   Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
