## Description

Minos Imperial Luxury Beach Resort & SPA is a premium seaside destination in Northern Crete, offering 318 rooms, suites, and villas, multiple restaurants and bars, private beaches, and world-class hospitality facilities. The resort is renowned for its high-quality services, refined gastronomy, and elegant, tranquil environment.

The Asian Chef will be responsible for developing and executing authentic and contemporary Asian culinary concepts, ensuring exceptional quality, flavor, and presentation standards. The role involves close collaboration with the Executive Chef and the F&B team to create high-end Asian dining experiences and innovative menus for the resort’s guests.

-   Design, develop, and seasonally update Asian cuisine menus (e.g., Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean, or Pan-Asian concepts)
-   Prepare and present dishes according to luxury hospitality standards
-   Ensure high quality of ingredients, taste consistency, and premium presentation
-   Maintain and implement food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
-   Collaborate with the Executive Chef on the overall culinary strategy and concept development
-   Train and guide the kitchen team on Asian culinary techniques and standards
-   Control food costs, inventory, and ordering of raw materials
-   Manage daily operations of the Asian kitchen outlet
-   Develop innovative culinary concepts and signature dishes for fine dining experiences

## Requirements

-   Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Asian Chef or in a similar role in 5★ hotels or high-end restaurants
-   Expertise in one or more Asian cuisines (Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean, Fusion, etc.)
-   Strong knowledge of Asian cooking techniques (sushi, wok, dim sum, teppanyaki, street food, fine dining)
-   Knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety regulations
-   Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative menus and concepts
-   Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume luxury environment
-   Team player with leadership and training capabilities
-   Good command of the English language (spoken and written). Good knowledge of Greek will be an asset.
-   Strong organizational and communication skills
-   Culinary degree or relevant professional certification is considered an advantage
