Mercier Consultancy MD is pleased to invite applications for the role of Portuguese Trust & Safety specialist for a leading social media platform, offering the exciting opportunity to live and work in Greece. This position involves reviewing and managing content generated by users to ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for Portuguese-speaking communities. Join our dynamic team and contribute to maintaining high standards of content quality on the platform.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Monitor and moderate user-generated content in Portuguese across the social media platform.
-   Ensure content complies with community guidelines, policies, and legal requirements.
-   Identify and escalate issues such as harmful, inappropriate, or violating content to relevant teams.
-   Provide insights and feedback to improve content moderation processes and policies.
-   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the online community experience.
-   Stay informed on updates in company policies and moderation best practices.

## Requirements

-   Exceptional fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken) is essential.
-   A minimum English fluency of B2 is required.
-   Previous experience in content moderation or related roles, preferably on social media platforms.
-   Strong attention to detail with consistent application of moderation guidelines.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to handle sensitive and potentially distressing content professionally.
-   Familiarity with social media and content management tools is beneficial.
-   Willingness to relocate and adapt to living and working in Greece.
-   Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a global team.
