## Description

The General Practitioner – Aesthetic Medicine is responsible for providing safe, ethical, and high-quality aesthetic medical treatments while ensuring excellent patient care and satisfaction. The role involves patient consultations, treatment planning, performing non-surgical aesthetic procedures within the scope of the practitioner's DHA/MOH/DOH license and privileges, maintaining accurate medical records, and contributing to the growth of the clinic.

### Key Responsibilities

### Clinical Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, medical assessments, and aesthetic evaluations.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and expectations.
-   Perform aesthetic procedures within the approved scope of practice, including:

-   Botox injections
-   Dermal fillers
-   Skin boosters
-   PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy
-   Mesotherapy
-   Chemical peels
-   Microneedling
-   Thread lifting (if licensed and privileged)
-   Minor skin procedures where applicable

-   Manage and treat complications arising from aesthetic procedures.
-   Educate patients regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and post-procedure care.
-   Ensure informed consent is obtained before all procedures.
-   Provide follow-up consultations and monitor treatment outcomes.
-   Prescribe medications where clinically appropriate and within licensing regulations.
-   Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all healthcare regulations.

## Requirements

### Qualifications

-   MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
-   Valid DHA License as a General Practitioner.
-   Aesthetic Medicine certification from a recognized training institution.
-   Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

### Experience

-   Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience as a General Practitioner.
-   At least 1–2 years of experience in aesthetic medicine is preferred.
-   Experience in cosmetic injectables and non-surgical aesthetic procedures is highly desirable.
