## Description

We are looking for an English Teacher for an international school based in Guangzhou. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026.

About the school

Located in Baiyun District of Guangzhou, this international school has four sections: early years, primary school, middle school and high school. It provides both Cambridge International Curriculum and British Curriculum programs. The school campus is large, well-equipped with classrooms, a Music and Dance area, a Library and Information Centre, an Art room, laboratories, a soccer pitch and other recreational areas.

Job responsibilities

-   Teach the subject of English to middle school students utilizing the IGCSE/A-level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
-   Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
-   Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
-   Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
-   Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
-   Develop supportive and safe learning environments

## Requirements

-   Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
-   Teaching certificate
-   Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
-   IGCSE/A-Level experience is essential
