### **Dentist (DDS/DMD)**

### **Position Summary**

The Dentist provides comprehensive oral healthcare services, including preventive, restorative, and diagnostic dental care. This role focuses on promoting oral health, diagnosing and treating dental conditions, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a clinical setting.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth, gums, and oral tissues
-   Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
-   Perform preventive services, including exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and patient education
-   Provide restorative and cosmetic procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures
-   Diagnose and manage periodontal disease and oral infections
-   Interpret dental radiographs and diagnostic tests
-   Prescribe medications as appropriate, including antibiotics and pain management
-   Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and treatment options
-   Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant dental records
-   Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
-   Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations

### **Qualifications**

-   Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school
-   Active or eligible state dental license
-   Current DEA registration or eligibility (if applicable)
-   CPR/BLS certification

-   Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-   Commitment to patient-centered, ethical, and evidence-based care
-   Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based dental practice

### **Work Environment**

-   Dental office or clinic setting
-   Full-time or part-time schedules may be available
-   May include occasional evenings or weekend hours depending on practice needs

## Requirements

Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.

LANGUAGE:

-   Must be able to fluently speak, read and write English.
-   Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin), Vietnamese, Spanish and other languages may be required depending on location.
-   Fluency in other languages are an asset.
