## Description

**Position Summary**

The Task Manager serves as the primary operational leader for specific Technical Instructions (TIs) and Task Orders under a Navy Information Technology contract. This role bridges the gap between executive program management, technical engineering teams, and the Navy Technical Point of Contact (TPOC). The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day IT deliverables, manage personnel allocation, track financial burn rates, and ensure compliance with strict Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity and architectural standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   **Operations & Delivery:** Oversee the daily execution of IT tasks including network modernization, cloud migration, software development, or help desk operations.[](https://recruiting.paylocity.com/recruiting/jobs/Details/4205339/CSA-Global-LLC/Help-Desk-Manager)
-   **Contract & Financial Tracking:** Monitor task-level budgets, track funding modifications, manage Level of Effort (LOE) hour burn rates, and prevent cost overruns.
-   **Personnel Management:** Direct, schedule, and evaluate a multidisciplinary team of network engineers, systems administrators, and cybersecurity professionals.[](https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/project-manager-surfmepp-fleet-support-at-mantech-4420195216)
-   **Client Interface:** Act as the primary interface for government TPOCs, CORs, and military leadership regarding task performance, risks, and scheduling.

-   **Risk & Quality Assurance:** Implement Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and ensure all IT deliverables meet Navy Cyber Mission Force standards.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.
-   Seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive professional experience in project management, technical program execution, or IT team leadership.
-   At least three (3) years of specialized experience managing IT infrastructure, software development, systems integration, or related technical delivery efforts.
-   Must possess and maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance.
-   Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred.

_Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $100,000 to $115,000 (annually)._
