## Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Engineer with strong expertise in Pega Smart Investigate and Payments domain to join our Business Platforms & Payments team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing payment investigation processes using the Pega platform, along with strong technical capabilities in system design, integrations, and modern enterprise application development.

This role requires a seasoned Pega professional who can act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payment investigations and contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions within a banking or fintech environment.

## Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

-   Design, develop, and implement payment investigation business processes using the Pega platform.
-   Act as the Pega Smart Investigate SME for payment investigation solutions.
-   Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Pega Smart Investigate 8.x.
-   Work on large and complex codebases, ensuring maintainability, scalability, and performance.
-   Design and implement system integrations using REST APIs and JSON-based services.
-   Develop and implement Integration Services in PRPC, including Rule-Connects and Services.
-   Develop Pega activities, declarative processing features, and user interface components.
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical payment solutions.
-   Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, unit testing, and technical documentation.
-   Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery practices.
-   Research, evaluate, and benchmark emerging technologies and recommend best-in-class solutions.
-   Drive technical discussions and provide architectural guidance across teams.
-   Influence and mentor development teams by sharing deep technical knowledge and industry best practices.

Education:

-   Bachelor's Degree or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
-   Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

Experience Required:

-   8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Pega development.
-   Experience as a Pega Certified Product Engineer.
-   Experience working as a Pega Lead Product Engineer or similar role.
-   Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech environments is highly preferred.

Certifications:

-   Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) – Preferred.
-   Pega Certified Lead System Architect (LSA) – Highly Preferred.
