**Job Purpose**

The Mechanical Technician overlooks and supervises all tasks required to ensure safe and efficient operation of all mechanical systems (plumbing works) for the regional airport of Santorini.  

**Requirements**

-   Acts as a first point of contact for all technical issues (plumbing works)
-   Installs, repairs, and maintains plumbing systems as well as other related equipment within the airport facilities
-   Provides first level technical assistance against any failure encountered while system is in operation
-   Liaises with the Airport’s Engineer for any scheduled maintenance activity or any ad-hoc intervention
-   Inspects and diagnoses plumbing problems, determining the most appropriate course of action to address issues efficiently and effectively
-   Implements the appropriate safety measures while performing plumbing works to prevent accidents, injuries, or damage to property
-   Advices and assists design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce operational costs
-   Provides input for CMMS data assignments
-   Adheres to company procedures and quality policies to ensure high systems reliability
-   Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

## Requirements

**Do you fulfill the required skills?**

-   Degree from a Technical Educational Institute or from a Technical School on a relevant field
-   Minimum five (5) years of experience in leading mechanical repairs and construction activities preferable in large scale installations
-   Computer literate
-   Fluency in Greek (οral & written)
-   Basic knowledge of the English language (οral & written)
