## Description

**Director of Program Delivery**

**Location**: Texas, Austin or Dallas, California Los Angeles

**Department**: Program Management

**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**About KRUSH Tech**

KRUSH Tech is building the future of aerospace, defense, communications, and autonomous systems. We develop advanced technologies that transform innovative ideas into reliable, production-ready solutions. Our multidisciplinary teams collaborate across engineering, software, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations to solve complex challenges and deliver next-generation capabilities for our customers. We are driven by innovation, technical excellence, and a commitment to advancing the future of autonomous aerospace systems.

**The Opportunity**

KRUSH Tech is seeking a Director of Program Delivery to build our program delivery system from the ground up as we launch U.S. operations. You will own how R&D programs are planned, governed, resourced, and delivered across the company, and you will own the financial performance of the R&D delivery portfolio.

Our challenge is broader than sprint execution: we need a leader who has scaled program delivery in a complex engineering organization, understands hardware, software, and system dependencies, and is comfortable challenging senior leaders to keep the portfolio honest. You will work closely with engineering, operations, finance, and executive leadership, and help shape the company from day one.

**What You'll Do**

•        Design and build KRUSH Tech's program delivery operating system from zero: stage gates, program reviews, planning standards, risk management, reporting, and the tools that support them.

•        Manage the R&D program portfolio as a whole, not individual projects: prioritize programs, balance capacity, and make trade-offs visible to leadership.

•        Own the financial performance of the R&D delivery portfolio, including program budgets, cost forecasts, estimate at completion and cost-to-complete, in close partnership with Finance.

•        Quantify and communicate the financial impact of schedule, scope, and delivery risks, and drive decisions to address them early.

•        Lead resource and capacity planning across engineering, software, manufacturing, and supply chain.

•        Manage hardware, software, and system-level dependencies across programs, from concept and development through integration, qualification, and production.

•        Establish delivery standards that meet the expectations of defense and other demanding customers, including earned value and contract requirements where applicable.

•        Provide clear, candid portfolio reporting to the founder and senior leadership, and challenge assumptions on schedule, scope, and resourcing when needed.

•        Build, hire, and develop the program management team as the company grows.

**What We're Looking For**

•        Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

•        12+ years of experience in program delivery for complex engineering products, including 5+ years leading a program portfolio or a team of program managers (Director, Head of Programs, or VP level).

•        Experience at an aerospace, defense, or space company, such as a prime, a tier-1 or tier-2 supplier, or a newer defense or space technology company, with credible exposure to defense or similarly demanding customers.

•        Proven experience building or scaling a program delivery function or PMO: stage gates, risk management, integrated program teams, governance, and executive reporting.

•        Strong program financial management: budgets, forecasting, estimate at completion, cost-to-complete, and earned value management.

•        Hands-on experience delivering programs with significant hardware, software, and systems integration dependencies.

•        Confident communicator who can influence and challenge senior leaders and work closely with Finance and Engineering.

\*\*Travel Domestic and International up to 50% could be required for the role\*\*

_At this time, KRUSH Tech is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer-sponsored visa support, now or in the future._

_Due to U.S. Government export control regulations, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or otherwise eligible to access export-controlled information._

**Preferred Qualifications**

•        Experience building program delivery at a growth-stage or startup company.

•        Experience taking new products from development through qualification and production.

•        Experience leading programs across multiple sites, including international or contract manufacturing partners.

•        Experience with defense contracting requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and EVMS.

•        PMP or equivalent program management certification.

•        Active U.S. security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

•        Advanced degree in engineering or an MBA.

**Why Join KRUSH Tech?**

Build the program delivery system for a deep-tech company from day one.

Work on advanced aerospace, defense, and autonomous systems programs.

Partner directly with the founder and senior leadership on how the company delivers.

Build and lead your own program management team as the company scales.

Grow your career in a fast-paced, innovative, and mission-driven environment.

_**Physical Requirements**_

•        Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.

•        Ability to communicate effectively in person and virtually.

•        Occasional travel to customer sites, suppliers, and test or manufacturing facilities as needed.
