## Description

SearchPlus HR is proudly partnering with a leading private healthcare facility to recruit a highly skilled Consultant Surgical Oncologist. This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art private sector environment dedicated to delivering exceptional cancer care through advanced surgical interventions.

In this position, you will be responsible for the surgical management of patients diagnosed with various malignancies. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring personalized and compassionate care that addresses each patient's unique needs.

### Key Responsibilities:

-   Conduct thorough clinical evaluations and assessments of oncology patients
-   Plan and perform complex surgical oncology procedures with precision and care
-   Coordinate with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to devise comprehensive treatment strategies
-   Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, monitoring patient progress and addressing complications
-   Maintain detailed, up-to-date patient records in accordance with private healthcare standards
-   Educate patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, and recovery expectations
-   Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in surgical oncology

## Requirements

-   Medical degree with specialization and board certification in Surgical Oncology
-   Extensive experience in surgical oncology within a private healthcare setting
-   Deep understanding of oncology principles, surgical techniques, and cancer treatment modalities
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and patients
-   Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly regarding clinical documentation
-   Ability to manage complex cases independently and collaboratively
-   Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to private sector healthcare regulations
