## Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and Western-trained **Consultant Nephrologist** to provide advanced clinical care for patients with kidney-related disorders. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing complex renal conditions, providing expert consultation, and contributing to the development of high-quality nephrology services within an academic healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tertiary care nephrology, renal replacement therapies, and multidisciplinary patient management while maintaining international standards of clinical excellence.

## Requirements

-   Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases.
-   Manage complex nephrological conditions, including chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), glomerular disorders, electrolyte abnormalities, and hypertension-related renal disease.
-   Evaluate and manage patients requiring renal replacement therapies, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
-   Participate in kidney transplant assessment, pre-transplant evaluation, and post-transplant care where applicable.
-   Perform and interpret nephrology-related diagnostic assessments and investigations.
-   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including urologists, transplant surgeons, intensivists, cardiologists, and other specialists.
-   Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultations.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans based on current evidence-based clinical guidelines.
-   Participate in academic activities, clinical teaching, and mentoring of junior physicians and trainees.
-   Contribute to research activities, clinical audits, and quality improvement programs.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
-   Participate in departmental meetings and multidisciplinary case discussions.
-   Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and international accreditation standards.
