## Description

**Work From Anywhere in LATAM**

**Work Schedule:** PST | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible; 1–2 hours daily synchronous overlap with Pacific Time required)

**Compensation Range:** $2,500 USD/month based on experience

An early-stage AI assurance company in the healthcare space is looking for a Business Development Researcher to turn complex market and regulatory signals into go-to-market strategy and a qualified sales pipeline.

The company builds systems that help organizations validate and prove that their AI behaves as intended, serving diagnostic AI companies, hospitals, and AI vendors where every relationship is high-touch and strategically significant. It is pre-Series A and actively fundraising, scaling business development with dedicated research support.

Day-to-day, this role runs deep-dive company and regulatory research (FDA 510(k), EU AI Act), builds competitor maps and market-sizing analyses, maintains a CRM-based pipeline of target accounts, and executes research-backed LinkedIn and email outreach. Success means that within 12–24 months, major strategy decisions, customer wins, and market moves are traceable to your research and recommendations.

## Requirements

**Must-Have**

-   Hands-on experience analyzing dense regulatory and technical material such as FDA 510(k) submissions or EU AI Act documentation
-   Demonstrated experience producing competitive intelligence, competitor maps, market-sizing analyses, and go-to-market strategy documents
-   Experience building and maintaining a CRM or structured pipeline (Google Sheets, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Notion), including sourcing and qualifying target accounts
-   Proven execution of high-touch outreach via LinkedIn and email
-   Hands-on proficiency with AI research tools (Claude / Claude Code) to accelerate research, including verification of AI outputs
-   C1+ English (CEFR) for founder-facing collaboration and customer-ready written research

**Nice-to-Have**

-   Background in regulatory affairs, compliance, safety, or AI/ML evaluations
-   Direct exposure to diagnostic AI, medtech, or regtech companies
-   Familiarity with structured go-to-market frameworks
-   Experience with Perplexity or comparable AI research tools
-   Prior experience supporting an early-stage or pre-Series A founder directly
