**Position Overview**

We are looking for a UK-based Paralegal to join Avantia and support our UK Contracts team. Within this role you will be supporting with first round markups of investment related NDAs and related documents, setting up and coordinating workflows and portal management and assisting with the executive of documents. 

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Contract Drafting and Support: Supporting our UK lawyers with first round markups and passing the relevant information over to the team
-   Managing the prompt intake of new documents and working to tight turnaround times
-   Client Support: Setting up and coordinating client workflows and assisting with setting up portals and getting contracts signed and finalised 
-   Team Collaboration: Working closely with our UK lawyers, support the lawyers with ad hoc work where necessary

**Qualifications** 

-   Bachelor’s degree in law (or another discipline alongside a GDL/LPC)
-   At least 2 years’ experience working with a transactional or corporate practice group or in an in-house commercial legal team setting
-   Experience working with commercial contracts and drafting initial markups, particularly investment related NDAs.
-   Exposure to private markets highly desirable
