## Description

**Job** **purpose**

The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the food and beverage industry.

**Job Responsibilities**

-   Identify and research potential new clients in the food and beverage industry.
-   Develop and implement strategies to acquire new business and expand market share.
-   Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
-   Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our offerings and capabilities.
-   Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale to close deals and achieve revenue targets.
-   Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of new clients.
-   Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
-   Track and report on sales performance, and market trends to management.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business.
-   +2 years of sales or account management experience.
-   Proven track record of success in sales acquisition, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
-   Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and business development principles.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
-   Self-motivated and results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-   Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and adapt to changing priorities.
