United Concrete Products, Inc. in Wallingford, CT is currently seeking an **AutoCAD Drafter** to join our team. We are a family-owned precast concrete manufacturer. The desired candidate will have completed a program that utilized AutoCAD software.

Responsible for producing accurate shop drawings, erection drawings, and detail sheets for precast concrete products using AutoCAD. Works closely with engineers, project managers, and production staff to support on-time, code-compliant delivery of precast elements.

**Key Responsibilities**

Develop and revise shop drawings for precast components including culverts, arches, 3-sided bridges, prestress, etc.

Interpret structural contract documents to produce production-ready drawings

Coordinate with engineering on embed layouts, reinforcement details, and connection hardware

Maintain drawing files and revision logs in accordance with company standards

Communicate with the production floor to resolve drawing questions and field conditions

Assist in quantity takeoffs and material lists as needed

## Requirements

-   2+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience; precast or structural concrete experience preferred
-   Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; experience with Revit or Tekla a plus
-   Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings
-   Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
-   Associate's degree or certificate in drafting, engineering technology, or related field preferredultiple projects concurrently while being flexible and able to adapt to a fast paced and ever changing environment
