## Description

We are looking for a Geography Teacher for an international school in Qingdao. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026.

Located in Qingdao’s Chengyang District, this private boarding school offers a bilingual education that combines the Chinese national curriculum with British IGCSE, A-Level and AP programs. With around 800 students and a diverse faculty, the school emphasizes academic excellence, holistic development, and global university preparation through a strong blend of academics, arts, and extracurricular activities.

Job responsibilities

-   Teach geography to secondary school students utilizing the A-level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
-   Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
-   Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
-   Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
-   Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
-   Develop supportive and safe learning environments

## Requirements

-   Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
-   Teaching certificate
-   Two or more years teaching experience in the subject 
-   Good understanding of teaching IGCSE/A-level curriculum
