## Description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced **Recruiting & HR Coordinator** to join our growing team in Kenner, Louisiana. This role combines full-cycle recruiting with HR operations and administrative support. The ideal candidate excels at sourcing and hiring top talent while also providing reliable day-to-day HR coordination across the entire employee lifecycle. This role will partner closely with HR leadership, hiring managers, employees, and Finance to ensure an exceptional candidate and employee experience.  

**Key Responsibilities** 

_Talent Acquisition & Recruiting_ 

-   Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from requisition approval through offer acceptance and onboarding.
-   Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define recruitment strategies, and ensure timely hiring.
-   Source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach. Screen, interview, and assess candidates against role requirements, technical skills, and cultural fit.
-   Coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication, and deliver an outstanding candidate experience.
-   Extend offers in partnership with HR Leadership and hiring managers.
-   Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
-   Attend recruitment, networking, and employer branding events to promote the company as an employer of choice.
-   Maintain ATS records, recruitment metrics, and continuously improve hiring processes.

_HR Operations_

-   Support employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employment documentation, and HR administration.
-   Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
-   Coordinate onboarding activities, including background checks, I-9/E-Verify, training, and system access.
-   Partner with Finance to support payroll administration and employee data accuracy.
-   Track attendance, PTO, leave requests, and employee records.
-   Assist with benefits administration, employee communications, and HR documentation.

_Employee Support & Compliance_

-   Respond to employee and candidate inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
-   Support performance review processes, policy administration, and HR initiatives.
-   Assist with leave administration, workers' compensation, disability cases, and related documentation.
-   Participate in employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations.
-   Help ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience  

-   Minimum of 2-4 years of progressively responsible experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, HR coordination, HR operations, or a combination of both  

-   Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes across multiple position types and levels  

-   Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices, HR administration, and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws  

-   Experience supporting onboarding, employee records management, and HR systems administration  

-   Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills  

-   Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment  

-   Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities  

-   Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word  

**Preferred** 

-   Experience with BambooHR, ADP Workforce Now, or similar HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systems  

-   Experience recruiting for gaming, technology, digital media, or other fast-paced operational environments  

-   Experience supporting multi-state employee populations  

-   Experience with E-Verify, leave administration, and benefits programs  

**Work Environment & Physical Requirements** 

-   This position is primarily performed in an office or remote setting.  

-   The role requires prolonged periods of sitting and screen usage.  

-   Employees may be required to operate gaming consoles, peripherals, and various computing hardware.

**Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)** 

This position has been designated as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay at a rate of one and one-half times their regular rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in a workweek, in accordance with applicable federal and state wage and hour laws.
