## Description

We are looking for an experienced people leader to own our people strategy, define our employee experience, embed right sized processes and manage change. We’re incredibly proud of the culture that we’ve created together and we want to continue to nurture that. 

Reporting into the CEO, you’ll lead a small people team, and take on a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on operational work. You’ll act as a partner to the Leadership team, to navigate organisational and cultural change, and drive employee engagement and performance. 

This will be a hybrid role, with a minimum of two days a week in our Brighton office. We are open to both part-time and full-time applicants.

### Responsibilities

-   **People & culture strategy:**

-   Develop and execute a people strategy aligned to business goals
-   Define our employee experience and develop and implement the policies, procedures, and programmes that deliver on it
-   Enable continuous feedback loops with the team to inform the people strategy and optimise all areas of our employee experience 
-   Lead a project to evolve our cultural values, in line with our changing business, and embed those values into all aspects of our work

-   **Employee relations and HR:**

-   Facilitate effective employee relations and conflict resolution
-   Address employee concerns and provide guidance on HR-related matters

-   **Learning, development and performance:**

-   Take ownership of our Learning and Development function and strategy, as well as management and delivery of internal training.
-   Establish a consistent and effective performance evaluation process
-   Foster career growth and advancement opportunities

-   **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):** 

-   Champion DEI initiatives and integrate them into all functions
-   Develop and track metrics to measure DEI progress and impact

-   **Talent acquisition:**

-   Oversee a hiring process that enables us to attract and retain brilliant people, who align with our values

## Requirements

-   Experience leading a People & Culture team
-   Ability to align people strategies with business goals
-   Senior level experience in People leadership, with a track record of overseeing employee relations, people operations and leading cultural and organisational change
-   A detailed practical knowledge of HR policy, practice and employment legislation
-   Experience creating and leading initiatives with cultural impact, such as DEI
-   A passionate communicator with proven experience leading internal communications through change

Salary is ranged from £70,000 - £85,000 FTE
