\*\*\*Shift Differential offered for 2nd, 3rd and Weekend Shifts

\*\*\*Patient Ratio homes have maximum 8 residents (Low stress environment)\*\*\*

MaxCare Health & Residential Services has six residential group homes offering nursing services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have complex medical needs. We have a great work environment and an experienced management team. **Shifts available:** 

**Full-time**

-   3:00pm - 11:00pm
-   11:00pm - 7:00am

**Part-time**

-   3:00pm - 11:00pm
-   11:00pm - 7:00am
-   Every Other Weekend all shifts  
      
    **Salary:** $32.00 per hour

**Basic Responsibilities:**

-   Provide nursing care for individuals with intellectual disabilities
-   Provide basic patient care and treatment in collaboration with the Direct Support Professional /CNA
-   Educate and update patients on medical treatments
-   Daily documentation of services provided and progress towards goals
-   Collaborate with an RN to administer prescribed medications and coordinate services as applicable

**Minimum Qualifications:**

-   Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Virginia
-   Current CPR certification preferred
-   Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred
-   Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
-   Ability to build rapport with patients, families, state officials, and peers
-   Compassionate and caring demeanor
-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills

## Requirements

-   Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Virginia
