## Description

**This role is for one of the Weekday's clients  
  
**We are seeking experienced Biology professionals to contribute to an exciting collaboration with a leading AI research lab. In this role, you will help develop and evaluate advanced AI systems designed to replicate real-world workflows across life sciences, biomedical research, and related domains.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Evaluate Biology-related outputs produced by AI systems for accuracy, quality, and scientific relevance
-   Design challenging Biology problems to stress-test AI reasoning and analytical capabilities
-   Support data generation and evaluation processes to improve next-generation large language models

### Ideal Qualifications

-   PhD in Biology or a closely related field from a top-tier university
-   Undergraduate degree completed in the U.S., UK, Canada, or Europe (preferred)
-   2+ years of academic (research, publications, teaching) or professional experience
-   Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
-   High proficiency in English

### Project Timeline

-   **Start Date:** August (applications reviewed on a rolling basis)
-   **Duration:** 1–2 months
-   **Commitment:** 10–20 hours/week (with potential extension up to 40 hours/week)
-   **Schedule:** Fully remote and asynchronous with flexible working hours

### Compensation & Contract

-   Competitive hourly rate: **$65–85 USD/hr**
-   Performance-based weekly bonus incentives: **$20–100/hr** in addition to base pay
-   Independent contractor position
-   Weekly payments via Stripe Connect
