## Description

**Hospice Executive Director**

This is a key leadership role for a strong local operator who understands hospice operations, knows the market, and has a track record of building teams, driving growth, and leading a high-performing branch.

As the **Hospice Executive Director**, you will provide overall leadership, direction, and accountability for the local hospice program. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, staff leadership, financial performance, regulatory oversight, and continued growth of the branch.

**Position Responsibilities:**

**•** Oversee the overall management and performance of hospice operations

**•** Lead branch operations with accountability for staffing, hiring, budgets, and day-to-day execution

**•** Develop and manage the annual budget, while monitoring expenditures and financial performance

**•** Analyze business volume, market conditions, competition, service mix, and operational costs

**•** Drive growth by expanding new and existing referral and client relationships

**•** Partner with recruiting and leadership to attract, hire, and retain top talent

**•** Work closely with clinical leadership on intake activity, patient needs, and operational execution

**•** Ensure compliance with company standards, as well as applicable federal and state regulations

**•** Help build and maintain a strong branch culture focused on performance, service, and stability

## Requirements

**•** Must have strong local market knowledge, relationships, and established contacts

**•** _**3+ years of hospice operations management experience**_

**•** Experience with budget development, financial oversight, and expense management

**•** Broad understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements

**•** Strong leadership, operational, strategic, and managerial ability

**•** Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
