### About the Role

We’re looking for reliable and energetic Site Assistants to support daily after-school operations and student supervision.

This part-time Assistant will play a crucial role reporting to the Program Coordinator and supporting the successful operation of our youth development and after-school programs, focusing on key areas to ensure quality and compliance.

_Schedule:_ PT 12 a 6pm

_Hourly Pay Rate:_ $30  

### In this role, you will:

-   Assist with daily student check-in and check-out procedures.
-   Help monitor transitions between activities and ensure proper supervision ratios.
-   Remain on site until all students have been safely dismissed and the last child has been picked up.
-   Support Educators in setting up materials and maintaining clean, safe environments.
-   Communicate supply needs, attendance issues, or incidents to the Site Coordinator.
-   Assist with managing snack distribution and cleanup.
-   Provide additional coverage or supervision when needed.
-   Uphold HOKALI’s safety standards and report any incidents immediately.

## Requirements

-   18+ years of age
-   An educational background in education, child development, or a related field is highly preferred.
-   Passion for education and working with kids.
-   Strong leadership and professionalism skills when working with schools and students.
-   Experience working in schools and leading large teams.
-   Ability to engage and inspire students in a fun and educational environment.
-   Ability and willingness to complete 6 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
