**Physical Therapist**

**Metuchen, New Jersey**

**Salary:** $90K–$100K annually, based on experience  
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM  
**Expected Patient Schedule:** 1–2 patients per hour  
**Employment:** Full-Time

**About the Opportunity**

An orthopedic outpatient practice in Edison is hiring a **Physical Therapist** to manage a varied caseload of patients with orthopedic injuries, post-operative needs, pain, and mobility restrictions.

The position requires a PT who can make sound clinical decisions throughout the rehabilitation process. You will determine treatment priorities, track functional changes, and progress patients according to their individual goals and response to care.

**Primary Duties**

-   Conduct initial and follow-up physical therapy assessments
-   Establish measurable short- and long-term treatment goals
-   Treat orthopedic injuries and post-surgical conditions
-   Provide strengthening, flexibility, balance, and mobility training
-   Progress therapeutic activities according to patient ability
-   Perform hands-on treatment when appropriate
-   Reassess functional performance throughout treatment
-   Provide patient education and home exercise guidance
-   Maintain complete progress notes and treatment records

## Requirements

-   Active **New Jersey Physical Therapist License**
-   **Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or MSPT Degree**
-   Prior **outpatient PT experience**
-   Knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation
-   Ability to manage patient care independently
