## Description

Sierra Select Distributors, Inc. is a distributor and buying-group platform serving home-technology integrators with premium AV, networking, security, and automation products. The company supports a specialized market with solutions that help partners stay connected to leading brands, navigate a changing industry, and communicate value clearly across their businesses.

This role is an opportunity to shape how the organization communicates with the market, its partners, and internal stakeholders. As Communications Director, you will guide the voice of the business, strengthen brand messaging, and help ensure communications efforts support broader strategic goals.

### Responsibilities

-   Develop and lead the organization’s overall communications strategy and brand messaging.
-   Oversee media relations, press outreach, and crisis communication planning.
-   Create compelling internal and external content across digital and print channels.
-   Partner with executive leadership to align communications with business objectives.
-   Manage communications campaigns, calendars, and performance reporting across stakeholders.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
-   Experience managing media relations and high-stakes crisis communications.
-   Experience leading cross-functional communications campaigns with measurable business impact.
-   Exceptional writing and message development skills, with experience developing executive messaging.
-   Experience with campaign calendars, editorial planning, and KPI-driven communications or media performance reporting.
-   Experience working with media contacts, internal department leaders, external partners, or member and integrator audiences.
-   5+ years of communications experience at Director or Head of Communications level is a plus.
-   Domain knowledge of home technology, AV, networking, security, automation, distributor environments, or buying-group ecosystems is a plus.
