Interamerican is looking for a passionate and ambitious Data Analyst to join its Data Analytics team and help shape smarter, data-driven decisions across the business.

The main purpose of the role is to empower the business with clear, insightful data analysis and visualizations, while streamlining processes through automation to drive smarter, faster decisions.

  

**Key Responsibilities:**

  

-   discusses business questions, identifies and agrees upon all the steps in the analysis needed and the timeline.
-   assesses and explores data from all possible sources and prepares data for further data usage.
-   identifies valuable data sources and automates collection processes.
-   processes, cleanses, and verifies the integrity of data used for analysis.
-   interprets and visualizes data, analyzes results using statistical techniques and provides ongoing reports.
-   creates and builds basic or advanced market (NPS, competition, campaign), customer (new or existing, journeys) process or segmentational analyses through statistical tools.
-   creates, calibrates and monitors basic predictive modeling results (GLM & decision trees) in order to explain trends in insurance portfolio, and perform sensitivity tests.
-   develops and shares relevant knowledge and findings in their own field with the team and other relevant internal stakeholders, for example by giving presentations and providing training.
-   presents the analysis or modeling results and approaches clearly to business owners.

  

**Knowledge:**

  

-   2–6 years of experience in Data Analytics
-   BSc or MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Operational Research, Insurance or related fields
-   Strong knowledge of Python, SQL and Power BI
-   Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure Databricks will be considered a plus
-   Knowledge of CVM, Insurance and P&L analysis will be considered strong assets
-   Advanced knowledge of the English language
