## Description

We are seeking a hands-on **Baler Testing Technician** to join our production and quality control team. You will be responsible for the final testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of our heavy-duty mechanical recycling balers. Your primary focus will be ensuring every machine's hydraulic and electrical systems meet strict performance and safety standards before shipping to customers.

- **System Testing:** Conduct operational and diagnostic tests on newly assembled horizontal balers, verifying compression force, cycle times, and structural integrity.
- **Hydraulics Expertise:** Test, tune, and troubleshoot complex hydraulic systems. Inspect and calibrate cylinders, high-pressure pumps, valves, and hoses for optimal fluid power.
- **Electrical Troubleshooting:** Read and interpret electrical schematics. Test control panels, motors, limit switches, and safety interlock systems using multimeters and diagnostic tools.
- **Quality Assurance:** Identify defects, leaks, or performance bottlenecks. Execute necessary adjustments, rebuilds, or replacements according to manufacturer specifications.
- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate, detailed testing logs and inspection records for each machine.
- **Safety Compliance:** Ensure all machinery testing adheres to workplace safety practices, including proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

## Requirements

- **Experience:** 2–5 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting, testing, or repairing industrial machinery (specifically balers, compactors, or similar recycling equipment is a major asset).
- **Technical Skills:** Advanced understanding of electro-hydraulic controls and fluid power principles.
- **Problem-Solving:** Ability to read/interpret complex hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- **Physical Demands:** Must be able to frequently stand, bend, and lift heavy components (up to 50-75 lbs).
