Responsible for financial analysis, production of investment reports and management of existing investments, you will work directly with the senior members of the public markets investment team, including the CIO over time. Key skill sets include top-down, macro research and company/sector analysis. Investment ideas will be primarily expressed through public equities, with a focus on technology and financials.

Candidates should be risk positive with a track record of success in their professional and personal lives, and should share the values that come with being part of an elite team that takes on challenging assignments.

## Requirements

The successful candidate will:

-   Have an “X-factor” in their CV that demonstrates the ability to perform at an elite level
-   Have strong relational skills, able to represent the company well when dealing with external parties
-   Be passionate about financial markets and business
-   Have a proven ability to execute
-   Be very well-spoken, and have a polished and professional appearance
-   Be able to work at speed, and multi-task
-   Be an “energiser” – have a positive attitude, bringing fresh ideas and vigour to the role
-   Be meticulous in attention to detail
-   Be hungry to learn – the new joiner will be given the opportunity to do work far beyond the scope of a traditional equity research analyst
