**Job Role:** Credit Analyst/Senior Parabroker

**Compensation range:** PHP 80,000 - 120,000 / Monthly

**Engagement type:** Independent Contractor Agreement

**Work Schedule:** This role is expected to align with the Queensland business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

**Who We Are:** At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

**Who The Client Is:** It is an Australian financial services business with a close-knit offshore team that works directly with its leadership. The business values hands-on training, ongoing development, and opportunities for team members to grow. With new initiatives underway, it’s an exciting time to join as the company continues to expand.

**Role Overview:** We're looking for a sharp, analytical **Credit Analyst/Senior Parabroker** to join our credit team. This is a senior, assessment-focused role for someone who can review a client's financial position, understand their desired outcome, and determine the most suitable lending solution based on income analysis, lender policy, and serviceability. Working closely with the hiring manager and Team Leader, you'll research lending scenarios, assess complex financial information, and provide clear recommendations to help structure and progress suitable deals. You'll be part of a collaborative team that works together on challenging files, shares knowledge, and supports each other in finding the best outcomes for clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Income assessment:** Review and analyse PAYG income, including base salary, overtime, commissions, allowances, and casual income, to determine assessable income in line with lender policies.
- **Self-employed analysis:** Analyse self-employed financials (tax returns, financial statements, BAS, NOAs) and calculate assessable income accurately.
- **Lender selection:** Assess each client's financial circumstances and desired outcome, research relevant lender policies, and recommend suitable lenders based on eligibility, serviceability and available lending options.
- **Deal structuring:** Assess client scenarios, identify potential issues, and develop well-supported recommendations for suitable loan structures based on the client's financial position and desired outcome.
- **Compliance:** Prepare compliance documentation, including the GamePlan, preliminary assessments and supporting notes, as required.
- **Processing:** Where required, complete relevant information in MyCRM and prepare applications through ApplyOnline (AOL) for submission. Manage and respond to lender requests for more information (MIRs) as needed.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with the hiring manager and Team Leader to discuss complex files, validate calculations, share research, and work through challenging lending scenarios together.
- **Pipeline management:** Maintain relevant file updates in MyCRM and Trello to support visibility across active cases and help the team track progress.

## Requirements

- Proven experience as a Credit Analyst, Parabroker, or in a similar credit assessment role within the Australian residential mortgage market.
- Strong ability to assess PAYG income and analyse financial documents for self-employed applicants, including calculating assessable income accurately.
- Sound understanding of major Australian lenders and their credit policies, including the ability to research lender requirements and determine suitable options for different client scenarios.
- Strong analytical thinking and comprehension skills, with the ability to assess complex scenarios and make sound recommendations.

- Experience with ApplyOnline and Trello.
- Experience assessing a range of Australian residential lending scenarios, including complex PAYG and self-employed applications.
