**What you'll be doing**

As a Business Systems Specialist, you'll be the go-to person for the systems behind our business: building, improving and evolving them so that every team can work faster and smarter.

**Your responsibilities will include:**

-   Reviewing our existing systems, codebases and supplier arrangements, and leading a phased handover plan
-   Turning business needs into clear requirements, technical solutions and estimates
-   Writing, maintaining and troubleshooting application code, integrations and automations
-   Connecting our ATS, CRM, website and marketing tools to reduce duplicate entry and improve data quality
-   Evaluating new tools and proposing AI applications tied to real business problems

## Requirements

**What we're looking for**

-   3-5 years of experience developing, integrating and supporting live business applications
-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
-   Front-end and back-end development skills, including reading and debugging existing codebases
-   Experience with SQL, data modelling, APIs, webhooks, authentication and third-party integrations
-   Clear communication of technical trade-offs to non-technical colleagues
-   Ownership of projects from requirements through release and support
-   Strong English, and the ambition to build and lead a small team

_Nice to have:_

-   Experience with recruitment or HR systems, ATS and CRM platforms
-   Website content management and marketing integrations
-   Workflow automation or practical AI implementation
