**Product Compliance Manager**

**LOCATION:**          Aylesford, Kent

**WORKING HOURS:** 8am - 4.30pm, office based

**CONTRACT:** Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced **Product Compliance Manager**, to join our growing Team at Pineapple.

**What You'll Be Doing**

-   Develop and maintain processes to manage product compliance across multiple categories.
-   Maintain systems and records for certification documentation, technical files, and declarations of conformity.
-   Coordinate with test and certification partners to ensure successful compliance testing.
-   Organise and facilitate internal and external compliance audits.
-   Proactively identify compliance issues and use your initiative to develop practical solutions.
-   Keep up to date with global regulatory and packaging changes (EU, UK, USA) and support the business in preparation.
-   Review product manuals, safety labelling, and data to ensure compliance with applicable certifications.
-   Collect and manage compliance data from suppliers and the supply chain.
-   Support chemical compliance and product marking requirements.
-   Assist in CE, CA, and FDA certification processes and retesting strategies.
-   Help create testing budgets and identify cost efficiencies.
-   Support packaging and timber compliance requirements.
-   Contribute to the company’s sustainability initiatives across products, operations, and supply chains.

**What We're Looking for**

An experienced and detail-oriented professional, ideally with a background in the furniture industry. You'll have a collaborative approach, a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring products meet regulatory and certification requirements across global markets while supporting innovation and sustainability.

## Requirements

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and enjoys working as part of a team.

**Ideally, you'll have:**

-   Proven ability to lead teams through complex challenges with clarity, confidence, and accountability, inspiring and influencing colleagues at all levels.
-   Strong track record of making high-impact decisions under pressure, effectively balancing commercial, operational, and strategic priorities.
-   Extensive senior leadership experience within Product Compliance, delivering measurable results and driving strategic action.
-   Deep understanding of product compliance, sustainability requirements, and certification processes, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, test reports, and evolving regulatory standards.
-   Experience working within product categories such as lighting, bathroom, or furniture, including managing a portfolio of product certifications.
-   Demonstrated ability to oversee sustainability initiatives, ensuring products meet environmental standards and align with organisational sustainability goals.
-   Skilled in leading, developing, and supporting your teams, including effective delegation, coaching, and day-to-day issue resolution.
-   Strong capability in cross-functional collaboration while maintaining focus on long-term objectives and driving continuous improvement.
-   A decisive and pragmatic problem solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
-   Effective project management capabilities, including experience in product testing, process analysis, and managing ambiguity to drive informed decision-making.
-   Ability to build positive relationships with regulatory and certification bodies.
-   Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
-   Well-informed in sustainability trends, environmental regulations, and broader business impacts
