## Description

**Location:** New York, NY

**Work Model:** Onsite, 5 days a week, with regular travel to events

**Industry:** Insurance technology (tech-enabled commercial insurance brokerage)

**Compensation:** $140K-$170K OTE

### About the Company

Our partner is a fast-growing, tech-enabled insurance brokerage backed by top-tier venture investors. They serve roughly 1,000 business clients, grew 10x last year while staying cash-flow positive, and have doubled their team in the past year. The team is ambitious, direct, and built on ownership, with most leaders having started as individual contributors.

### The Opportunity

Our partner is hiring a Field Marketing Lead to own their event program from the ground up. You will run conferences, roundtables, partner programs and virtual events, with one clear goal: turning every event into qualified pipeline and closed revenue for the sales team.

This is a zero-to-one, individual-contributor seat with full ownership of the program and a meaningful annual budget. You will work hand in hand with sales and the existing in-person events team, and as the program scales there is room to grow it into a broader function.

### Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end field marketing and events program, starting with conferences and expanding into roundtables, partner programs and virtual events
- Plan and manage an annual event budget of $500K or more, allocating spend toward the highest-return programs
- Run a high volume of programs each year while keeping a sharp focus on pipeline and revenue outcomes
- Partner closely with the sales team to define target accounts, drive attendance and convert event leads into pipeline
- Measure and report the pipeline and revenue generated by each program, and use the data to refine the calendar
- Collaborate with the in-person events team on execution while owning strategy and results
- Travel to events regularly as the program requires

### Requirements

- 2-7 years of field marketing and events experience
- Proven ownership of event budgets of $500K-$800K or more
- Track record of generating pipeline and revenue from events, not only planning and coordination
- Experience running 30-50+ programs per year, or full ownership of fewer, larger programs
- Startup experience and comfort operating with minimal oversight
- Agency backgrounds welcome where you managed budgets across multiple clients
- Virtual events experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable with regular travel and working in office in New York 5 days a week
