We are currently seeking an **Intermediate HSE Coordinator** to support health and safety activities on a major mining and construction project. This position will provide field-based safety support, assist with safety management systems, monitor contractor activities, and work closely with the HSE Lead, Construction Superintendent, and frontline supervision to maintain a strong safety culture across the project.

### Responsibilities

-   Provide day-to-day field safety support to construction and project teams.
-   Conduct field inspections, observations, and safety interactions to identify and address hazards.
-   Support incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions, and follow-up.
-   Monitor critical controls and support Fatality Risk Management requirements.
-   Support contractor and subcontractor safety compliance.
-   Assist with safety meetings, orientations, toolbox talks, and safety initiatives.
-   Maintain safety documentation, reports, records, and project tracking systems.
-   Support implementation of project safety management systems and procedures.
-   Coach and support frontline supervisors and workers on safe work practices.
-   Communicate safety concerns and recommendations to the HSE Lead and Construction Superintendent.
-   Assist with audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
-   Promote safe work practices and contribute to a strong project safety culture.

**Position:** HSE Coordinator

**Rotation:** 15 days on / 13 days off

**Shift:** 12-hour shifts

**Camp & Flights:** Camp accommodations and flights to and from site are provided.

## Requirements

-   Experience in **HSE within mining, construction, or heavy industrial environments**.
-   Experience supporting field-based construction safety programs.
-   Knowledge of incident investigation, critical controls, and safety management systems.
-   Experience working with contractors and subcontractors.
-   Familiarity with **Fatality Risk Management** and field safety practices.
-   Experience participating in safety meetings, inspections, and audits.
-   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work effectively with frontline supervision, contractors, and project teams.
-   Strong commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement.
