Job responsibilities:  
\- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems to support data processing and analytics.  
\- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.  
\- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data integrity and reliability.  
\- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and cost efficiency.  
\- Develop and maintain documentation for data engineering processes and systems.  
\- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data engineering practices.  
  
Job requirements:  
\- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  
\- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.  
\- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.  
\- Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.  
\- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.  
\- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  
\- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
