📍 Location: Abu Dhabi

We are seeking an experienced and qualified **Specialist Neurologist** to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive neurological assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with a broad range of neurological disorders.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive neurological consultations, examinations, and assessments.
-   Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and diagnostic findings.
-   Manage patients with conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, headache and migraine disorders, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, and neurodegenerative diseases.
-   Evaluate patients presenting with neurological emergencies and coordinate appropriate urgent management.
-   Request and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations, including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG/NCS, and laboratory investigations where appropriate.
-   Provide appropriate medical treatment and monitor patient response.
-   Coordinate referrals to neurosurgery, rehabilitation, psychiatry, pain management, and other relevant specialties when required.
-   Provide follow-up care and monitor disease progression and treatment outcomes.
-   Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings.
-   Contribute to quality-improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education.
-   Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and preventive measures.
-   Maintain compliance with DoH Abu Dhabi regulations, hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety requirements.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized medical institution.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Neurology**.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience in Neurology.
-   Previous experience working as a **Specialist Neurologist** is preferred.
-   Current medical registration/license in the country of practice.
-   **DoH Abu Dhabi eligibility/license** or eligibility to obtain the required professional license.
-   Good clinical knowledge and demonstrated competence in neurological assessment and management.
-   Recent clinical practice with no significant interruption in practice.
