At Softeta, we are looking for a Python Engineer to become a member of our small, agile development team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our US-based client.The team will be responsible for a greenfield project to build a new payment processing platform from the ground up, moving away from existing systems to create a modern, scalable, and efficient solution.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Design, develop, and maintain a reliable payment processing solution using Python.
-   Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
-   Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in line with engineering best practices.
-   Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.

Technologies - Python, Django, AWS, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL.

## Requirements

-   3+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Python.
-   Proficiency with web frameworks such as Django, Fast API, or Flask.
-   Familiarity with database systems, especially PostgreSQL, is preferred.
-   Familiarity with TypeScript and at least one modern JavaScript framework.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Salary:**

-   **For employees:** 3500 EUR to 5200 EUR monthly (gross).
-   **For contractors:** 30 EUR to 35 EUR per hour (plus VAT).
