How Will Your Time Be Spent?
Your role will involve a mix of content creation, SEO strategy, and performance analysis. Here’s how you’ll typically allocate your time:
📝 40% Content Writing & Editing – Researching, writing, editing, and optimising educational blog posts, product descriptions, landing pages, and other off-site SEO initiatives. 📊 30% SEO Strategy & Brainstorming – Conducting keyword research, content planning and mapping, competitive research and analysis, and ensuring alignment with SEO best practices. 📈 20% Performance Analysis – Monitoring content performance, analysing key SEO metrics, and iterating based on data. 🤝 10% Collaboration – Working with designers, developers, marketing teams and external consultants or agencies to create a seamless experience.

To succeed in this role, you should have:
3+ years of experience in SEO content writing, content strategy, or digital marketing.
Strong understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, search intent, on-page optimisation, and content structuring.
Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio of high-ranking SEO content.
Experience managing content from inception to execution including briefing assignments, coordinating with freelance writers and SMEs, editing, and publishing using a CMS such as Wordpress.
Ability to translate complex health and science topics into engaging, easy-to-understand content.
Knowledge of Google algorithms, E-E-A-T principles, and technical SEO basics.
Strong collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and development teams.
Experience working in DTC, eCommerce, or subscription-based businesses is a plus.
